OE-ASTRO is an American military (DARPA) satellite that was launched by an Atlas 5 rocket from Cape Canaveral at 03:10 UT on 09 March 2007. The 952 kg craft, like its smaller companion, (OE-NEXTSAT) will test capabilities for autonomous rendezvous, refueling, and component replacement.
