Koreasat 2, also known as Mugunghwa 2, was a South Korean geostationary communications spacecraft launched from Cape Canaveral by a Delta 2 rocket. It will be parked at 116 E longitude over Borneo island to provide broadcasting and telecommunications to South Korea beginning in July 1996.
